Hey all. Finally got my hands on the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette! I didn’t get this the first time round as I didn’t think the colours were colours I would normally reach for, but more recently I’ve been more drawn to oranges and reds and thought maybe I’d quite like these peachy colours now. And I’m glad I decided to get this when they restocked as I love it. I can't get enough of the smell of it too! It really does smell of peaches. I’d say more of those chewy, sugar coated peach sweets than actual fresh peaches but either way it smells delicious! And as with all their chocolate palettes the packaging is so cute as well!
Let’s take a look at the colours. I’ve sectioned this off a little differently this time, as I wanted to show the colour in the pan compared to the swatch on my arm. I’ve taken the first six shades on the left to start with. And I realised after I’d taken my photos that I‘d swatched them the wrong way round, (oopsie) so the swatches start at the bottom of my arm!
So, starting at the top of the palette and bottom of my arm is:
White Peach - a shimmery white with a touch of pale pink, but the shimmers are so fine that this is almost a matte.
Nectar – a beautiful pale peachy-gold shimmer
Peaches ‘n’ Cream - a peachy-pink matte
Luscious – a rose gold shimmer
Cobbler – a rose gold-bronze shimmer and
Georgia – a muted pale pink matte.
Next up I the middle six shades, all swatched in the same direction again :)
Firstly, Just Peachy – a very pink with gold shimmer
Candied peach – a pinky-peach matte with gold and pink flecks of glitter throughout – this is mainly a matte and the glitters are sparse but catch the light stunningly
Caramelized – a darker bronze than Cobbler, with golden shimmer
Bless Her heart – a green with gold shimmer, which I think applies darker then it appears in the pan
Bellini – similar to Just Peachy – but lighter and almost has an iridescence to it, from pink to pale gold
And Puree - a lovely chocolate brown matte.
And the final six colours:
Tempting – a black with golden shimmer – not as shimmery as the other colours, in fact looks matte on my arm, but the light does catch the golden shimmers with movement
Peach Pit – a muddy purple with gold shimmer
Summer Yum – a warm reddy matte brown
Charmed, I’m sure – a lovely mauvey, almost dirty brown matte
Delectable – a dark purple with gold shimmers, this is like Tempting and looks quite matte when swatched, but the shimmers catch the light.
And finally Talk Derby To Me (I love this name!) – an almost black purple that looks matte with some shimmers throughout – I found this the only colour that was difficult to swatch.
I got this from Debenhams for £39.00, and you can also get the Glow Kit and Lip Glosses from here.
All in all, so pleased with this palette. There are a good selection of colours and mattes to shimmers that you can create so many looks from. The only colour I wasn’t as impressed with was Talk Derby To Me, just because it was quite chalky compared to all the other colours, luckily this isn’t a colour I would want to use too often. Apart from that, Too Faced have made another fantastic palette with creamy and pigmented colours. If you have this palette and love it, tag me in some of your looks I love to see them!
